In 1971 Thomas Douglas Cotterill, started his own general haulage company in South Yorkshire,  delivering clay drainage pipes, animal feed &  grains, hay and straw and any other general haulage items, including glass milk bottles.  The business grew and in October 1987 we relocated to Lancashire, right in the heart of the dairy industry, where we expanded into supplying printed glass milk bottles and Plastic HDPE milk bottles.  Today our Seaways Services vehicles still all carry the  name of TD Cottterill in memory of its founder.
