Printing Techniques
Direct Printing Ceramic (high fire)
We have semi and fully automatic direct screen printing machines, capable of printing up to 1-4 colours. The printing ink colours (ceramic enamel) we use are durable & resistant to dishwashers and industrial washing, and are suitable for multi trips. They are cured at 600°c, in a process that takes over 2 hours in an oven type kiln called a lehr
Available in most pantone colours, and in bright shiny precious metals gold and platinum and in imitation sparkly gold ,silver & copper
Direct Printing Organic (Low fire)
With semi and fully automatic direct screen printing machines, capable of printing up to 1-4 colours. The printing ink colours (organic ink) we use are vibrant in glossy or matt finish and are tough but are not resistant to dishwashing or heavy use and are not suitable for multi trips. They are cured at 180 °c, in a quick process that takes only 20-40 mins
When a bottle has been fully or partially spray coated with a colour or frosted finish, this is the only method of screen printing.
Available in all pantone colours, and imitation sparkly gold ,silver & copper.
Transfers/decals (ceramic and organic)
Durable Ceramic (high fired) or organic (low fired) Decals or Transfers are available in multi colours, to create a photo type finish if required. The printing registration is extremely precise. These transfers are applied by hand to the glass. This is ideal for complex logos, or unusual shaped glass.
Available in all pantone colours, and in bright gold and platinum
These can be applied directly onto the glass or onto a spray coated finish
3D raised decoration
A very unique process that adds a texture and depth to your print design. Not only is this tactile but it also presents the appearance of an embossed glass or bottle. This process is only available to bolder prints, as fine detail can not be achieved.
Durable & resistant to dishwashers and industrial washing, and are suitable for multi trips.
Metallics
We have a range of metallic enamels, including real precious metals gold and platinum silver, with the element of real gold in this ink, this is justified in the price and durability. A very effective alternative is sparkly imitation gold, silver, copper and brass which are more durable for mutli trip use and washing
Etch
Etch single colour decoration, delivers a textured creative engraved appearance. An effective premium print for your brand
Spray coating
Spray coating of glass containers. This process spray’s a light coating of colour onto the surface of the glass. Solid colour coats, or transparent. Matt or glossy and part coating to a fade out available.
This process is tough but are not resistant to dishwashing or heavy use and are not suitable for multi trips
Rim Branding
Gold or platinum rim branding, offers a high class finish to any glassware. In some dishwashing processes the gold can be prone to wash wear
